This year’s theme is Read, Renew, Repeat  and we will be focusing on the natural features of our world,  how they benefit us and how we can enjoy the world along with them.  Our events will be as follows:

Wednesday, June 12 10:00 a.m.: Dr. Michael Bechtel and his collection of exotic animals—All about creatures we’ve probably never seen

Wednesday, June 19 10:00 a.m.: Hunter Lott from the Grundy County Conservation Service -  All about Iowa animals

Wednesday, June 26 10:00 a.m.: The Iowa State University Insect Zoo - All about our six-legged friends

Wednesday, July 3 10:00 a.m.: The University of Northern Iowa Tallgrass Prairie Center - All about the native plants of Iowa

Wednesday, July 10 10:00 a.m.:  Zoo to You program by Blank Park Zoo  - and picnic lunch

All our programs will be at the library, at the Memorial Hall or in the Discovery Garden. We will put a sign on the door.

These programs are possible because of the generous support of Beck's Superior Hybrids, Farmers Savings Bank and Ritchie Industries.
