2026 Summer Reading Programs
Register your child for our Summer Reading Program by filling out this form and it will come directly to us. Please submit this form by June 1, 2026 for a prize!
This year’s theme is The Dinosaurs are Coming! and we will be focusing dinosaurs and their relatives such as reptiles and dragons.
We’re doing something a little different this year. Our Summer Reading programs will not all be on the same day at the same time. Most are in the afternoons so we don’t have a conflict with swimming lessons, and I hope that they are early enough that they won’t be in conflict with softball or baseball. The programs are spread out a bit through June and July. Please mark your calendars. We want to see as many of you as possible! Here’s the schedule:
June 9, 1:00 p.m.—Robison Reptiles - live critters! At Memorial Hall
June 17, 2:00 p.m. - Buck Jones, Cartoonist—Learn how to draw Dinosaurs! At the library
June 25, 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. - Elizabeth Bedia - Dinosaur story time and craft for the littles, and interactive dinosaur program for older kids. At Memorial Hall
July 8, 2:00 p.m.—Make and Take Dinosaur Dioramas—At the library
July 15, 2:00 p.m. - Dragon Training Academy - Animatronic dragons! At Memorial Hall
July 21, 2:00 p.m. - Kelly Crull, Author—Dino story time with fossil dig and dino egg hatching!
We would like everyone to register for the Summer Reading program, so we know how many to be prepared for.
All the programs will be at the library or at Memorial Hall. We will post a sign on the library door.
